- Responsible for weekly and semi-monthly payroll including confirmation, verification of codes, and overtime payments
- Administration and submittal of annual matters related to payroll processing
- Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries and requests
- Generate HR analytical reports and metrics using HRIS system
- Maintain HR database for employee lifecycle and accurate employee information in HRIS system
- Support in various administrative responsibilities including the areas of on-boarding, orientation, benefits, transfer, exit, and assignment changes.
- Coordinate and comply with annual audits.
- Administer human resources policies, procedures, and programs
- Assist with recruitment effort for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary employees; conduct new-employee orientations.
- Assist with the facility’s non-exempt attendance records. Prepares/issues/tracks corrective action for attendance violations.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Assist with the implementation, auditing, and training of benefit programs
- FMLA & disability administration including wage calculations
- Will be required to perform other HR duties as requested, directed or assigned.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload with a positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of ADP, SAP, similar HRIS System, (1-3 years of experience)
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Extensive comprehension with word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs with emphasis on Microsoft office tools
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and properly handle confidential information
Education And/or Experience Requirements
- Education minimum of a 4-year degree (BA or BS) in applicable area or education or experience equivalent.
- Background in labor relations strongly preferred.
- Understanding of HR law including FMLA, AADA, HIPPA, EEOC, ADEA, NLRA, ERISA, OSHA, and FLSA.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills – written and oral
- Strong team building and people skills including the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
