Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Position: Production Direct 1
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Status: Full-Time Regular
Starting Pay: $16.10/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate Machines
* Finish, Inspect, and Pack Parts
* Record all defects and scrap
* Record pieces produced
* Complete all required paperwork
* Housekeeping
* Practice safety at all times
* Perform special instructions/request as determined by the Supervisor
* Assemble components
* Visually inspect all components to detect non-conference
* Utilize forklift to move raw materials and finished goods
* Complete production and quality reports daily to maintain an accurate inventory
* Perform 5S duties
* Hand assembly
Education and/or Experience:
* High school diploma or GED required
Requirements:
* Must be able to stand for an 8-12-hour shift
* Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
* Must be willing and able to rotate between job assignments
* Must be able to climb stairs occasionally
* Must be available to work any shift as assigned
* Attendance is mandatory and must be on time for work
* Must be willing to work overtime when needed
* Must practice good housekeeping
* Must be flexible and willing to perform any task assigned by Supervisor
* Must be able to pass required safety tests
* Must have the ability to get along with others in a team environment
