What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter /Server Assistant position at Dana's?
Dana’s is located on The Landing in Downtown Fort Wayne. Dana’s is a neighborhood tavern, think Classic NYC Tavern kind of vibes with a heavy cocktail bar influence.
Dana's is open 7 days a week 4p-12a (Sat & Sun Open 2p).
What’s the job?
We are looking for porter to join the team to help with service. This can include resetting tables, running food and drinks, filling waters, seating tables, grabbing ice for the bar, and more. Primary function of the job is assist the entire team in making sure service for Dana's goes smoothly and we can offer a high level of hospitality.
$15 an hour is the guaranteed minimum rate being the base pay is $5 with a cut into the tip pool. We will guarantee pay minimum is $15 an hour if the tips do not make up that level so $15 an hour is the minimum you can expect to make!
We plan on this role to be something that eventually moves into bartending/serving
Shifts tend to be 3p-10/11p and anywhere from 2-4 shifts a week depending on availability.
