This Chemical Technician I is part of the Solid Support Manufacturing Team located in Coralville, Iowa and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things!
Work Schedule: In this role you will be required to work Monday - Thursday 8pm - 7am. This role may also be eligible for overtime and incentive pay depending on business needs. The work schedule may be subject to change based on business need, with sufficient notice.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Produce high quality chemical products that are used in DNA/RNA synthesis in a timely manner according to production schedules
Ensure products meet end-user specifications through in-process testing, as well as troubleshoot and correct non-conforming products
Participate on the Hazardous Material Spill Response Team
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School Graduate, or GED required. Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to meet all required IDT certifications required for the role, such as HAZWOPER 24hr-Technician Certification (requiring Medically fit to participate in IDT’s Respirator Program), RCRA awareness certification
The ability to medically clear and adhere to IDT’s Respiratory Program is a condition of employment and continued employment. Individuals in these functions will need to be tested, pass, and be fitted for respirator use as part of standard personal-protective equipment.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
