The Senior Analyst Materials/Planning for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing production/supply plans that considering forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity.  Is responsible for identifying and maintaining the appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans.  May also be responsible for providing materials to manufacturing areas based on planned production schedules and for the appropriate shipping of finished goods to various distribution centers utilizing material handling equipment in support of management policies for customer delivery and inventory levels.  Includes planners and inventory control roles.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

•  Identify opportunities and implement plans to improve OTD and inventory.
• Manage large, cross-functional groups to drive improvement initiatives.
• Use the Danaher Business System to drive innovation and change.
• Lead and report on group progress against KPIs which include, OTD, inventory and product availability.
• Manage large customer base insuring adherence to contracts and business initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree infield with 5-7 years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 3 -5 years of experience in planning and procurement
• 2 years in a planning capacity setting is needed to ensure success.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions
• Experience of working in an MRP/MPS environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• S &OP process – at Danaher called PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory)
• Oracle ERP and Oracle Cloud systems
