Qualifications for Residential HVAC Install Technicians:
- Preferably two years of residential HVAC experience.
- A clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Key Skills We’re Seeking in a Residential HVAC Install Technician:
- Expertise in installing and operating residential forced air heating systems.
- Proficiency in installing and operating residential forced air cooling systems.
- Knowledge of installing and operating residential hot water heating systems.
- Skilled in the installation, measurement, and layout of residential ductwork systems.
- Experience in water heater installation.
- Strong focus on jobsite safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret manufacturer specifications.
- Commitment to performing work in full compliance with local and national codes.
- Capable of consulting with customers on new system operation.
- Ability to both give and receive direction in a team environment.
- Expertise in jobsite safety practices.
- Experience in training new employees on company policies and procedures.
- Commitment to continuous training and professional development.
