Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the nursing department efficiently as an RN or LPN, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered in accordance with current guidelines and regulations.
• Join the community leadership team and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
• Assess staffing needs and make recommendations on hiring the appropriate number and level of nursing staff.
• Coordinate duty hours to ensure optimal staffing and care.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure nursing staff are fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
• Participate in surveys conducted by governmental agencies as required.
• Review nursing documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with reporting standards.
• Engage in the assessment and interview processes for prospective residents.
• Collaborate with physicians during rounds as necessary.
• Handle administrative tasks including completing medical forms, reports, and evaluations as needed.
• Monitor quality and survey reports, assisting with developing corrective action plans for any identified issues.
• Design and lead timely in-service training sessions to enhance staff competencies and knowledge.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of medical supplies and equipment on site, ensuring efficiency and minimizing waste.
• Create and execute individualized care plans for each resident, identifying their needs and the corresponding care services to be delivered.
