Key Responsibilities :
- As an RN or LPN, oversee the planning, organizing, and overall management of our nursing department, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate as a key member of the community leadership team.
- Assess and recommend staffing needs to maintain optimal operations.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure coverage.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor nursing staff performance and support them in their duties.
- Engage in surveys initiated by relevant government agencies as needed.
- Review nursing documentation to guarantee clarity, descriptiveness, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Participate in the evaluation of potential residents.
- Coordinate rounds with physicians as required.
- Handle administrative tasks including medical documentation and reporting.
- Monitor and review quality and regulatory reports, contributing to action plans for improvement.
- Design and implement timely training sessions to empower nursing staff with essential skills.
- Ensure availability and efficient management of medical supplies and equipment to meet resident needs while minimizing waste.
- Draft comprehensive care plans for each resident that outline their specific needs and the responsible services.
