Key Responsibilities :
- As an RN or LPN, you will lead, organize, and oversee our nursing department operations, ensuring compliance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations to maintain exceptional care quality.
- You will play an integral role in the community leadership team.
- Assess staffing requirements and recommend appropriate staffing levels.
- Manage duty hour scheduling effectively.
- Conduct routine rounds to verify that nursing staff fulfill their assignments.
- Engage in surveys conducted by authorized government agencies, as necessary.
- Review nursing notes for clarity, detail, and adherence to reporting standards.
- Participate in the interviewing and assessment process for prospective residents.
- Accompany physicians during rounds as required.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as needed.
- Monitor quality and survey reports, and aid in developing corrective action plans for any identified issues.
- Plan and implement timely training sessions that educate nursing staff on best practices.
- Ensure a sufficient stock of supplies and equipment is maintained to meet resident needs efficiently, minimizing waste.
- Develop comprehensive care plans for each resident, identifying their needs and detailing the services provided.
