In This Role, You Will
As the POS & Inventory and Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing a hybrid of operational, analytical, and technical tasks that include but are not limited to:
Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems & Retail Technology And Warehouse Management
- Manage and administer 48 Square POS accounts, ensuring proper user access, team permissions, and software updates.
- Oversee POS sales tax programming, reporting, and compliance for both the competition and convention business.
- Ensure all software and hardware are updated and operational, including iPads, charging equipment, credit card readers, and Square docks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Square-related troubleshooting and provide on-call support during event weekends.
- Train merchandise team members on POS functionality and best practices and Weekend Warriors.
- Coordinate warehouse fulfillment requests and track stock levels across multiple event locations and manage SDA POS system-enter inventory and weekly restocks
- Manage and lead the warehouse inventory fulfillment team (team of 4-5).
- Ensure that all trucks are properly loaded, and that all items are accounted for prior to leaving the warehouse. Plus ensure that all the inventory returns to the warehouse after the event and is stored properly.
- Provide hands-on support and training to warehouse staff and system users to ensure effective POS usage.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly count by item and partner with the Finance and Marketing team.
- Partner with warehouse leadership to understand operational challenges and implement technology-driven solutions.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to Square functionality.
- Prepare signage for each event.
- Place orders for accessories for both SDA/BTF
- Place reorders with vendors and process the SDA purchase orders
- SDA inventory Logistics
- Attend and support SDA events as needed
- Work with National Directors on feedback and direction about merchandise
- Work with Merchandise Planner to manage inventory levels, markdowns, reorders, margin
- Order giveaway shirts and promotional items as needed
- Manage and track SDA tasks on Monday.com
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certifications in retail management, merchandising, or inventory control are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in retail management, merchandising, inventory control, or POS system administration.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong experience with Square POS or similar sales technology platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

- Prior experience in entertainment, music, live theatre, or live production industry is highly preferred
- Experience working with children or in child-focused environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the dance convention business is a huge plus!
- Physical requirements include computer screen time, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
