- Physically Capable – You’re comfortable standing for long periods, lifting 25 lbs, climbing ladders, and the possibility of getting up and down off the floor multiple times per shift to assist with shoe fittings.
- Tech-Savvy (Basic Level) – You can confidently use a computer, answer phones professionally, and manage simple point-of-sale systems.
- Flexible & Weekend-Ready – You’re available during weekends and can adapt to a schedule that changes seasonally. Our fall and back-to-school seasons are our busiest, while summers are more relaxed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and detailed dance shoe fittings for dancers of all levels.
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain store cleanliness, restock merchandise, and assist with inventory as needed.
- Use basic computer systems for inventory lookups, point-of-sale transactions, and appointment scheduling.
- Manage physical tasks including lifting boxes, organizing inventory, and setting up displays.
Additional Notes:
This is not a behind-the-counter retail job—this is a hands-on, fast-paced, physically active role that’s perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with both people and details. Prior dance experience is a plus but not required.
