Dancing Goat Gardens is a locally owned cannabis company dedicated to producing premium products through sustainable and ethical practices.

Position Summary

A successful Budtender possesses the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. This position assists the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Responsible for delighting customers with outstanding customer service, guiding customers in selecting the best cannabis products to suit each visitor’s individual needs, using the point of sale system (POS system) for all sales processes, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to each customer in order to provide the highest possible level of service.
• Take time to educate customers on the varieties of cannabis and cannabis products.
• Develop and maintain an advanced understanding of the products in order to dispense cannabis and cannabis products that are tailored to each individual customer.
• Ensure each customer feels comfortable by greeting and checking them in a timely manner while also accurately performing transactions through the POS system.
• Ensure consistently positive customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system.
• Correct cash handling and discount application.
• Accurate and timely data entry of customer profiles.
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers.
• Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Montana Cannabis Workers Permit for interview consideration.
• All applicants must complete Pre-Interview Questionnaire. When application is submitted, the link will be messaged to you.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• One part-time, hourly position is available. Requires weekend, evening, and holiday shifts as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
