About the Role:
We’re hiring a Manufacturing Technician to help operate and maintain our RollPros Blackbird pre-roll machine. This is a hands-on, mechanically focused role that requires focus, grit, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
The Blackbird is a powerful, high-volume pre-roll machine — and it demands respect. It’s not a push-button setup. It requires stamina, mechanical instinct, and a willingness to troubleshoot on the fly when things don’t go as planned. If you’re someone who likes figuring things out, staying calm under pressure, and keeping things moving even when it’s not easy — this machine will be your kind of challenge.
While machine operation is the core focus, this is a team-based manufacturing environment, and you’ll also support general production and packaging tasks as needed. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable with physical work, and ready to learn, this is an opportunity to grow into a highly skilled role.
What You’ll Do:
- Train on and operate the RollPros Blackbird to manufacture premium cylindrical pre-rolls.
- Set up, clean, and maintain the machine daily.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during production.
- Support general production and packaging tasks as needed.
- Track production data and maintain inventory records accurately.
- Follow SOPs and compliance standards for safety and quality.
- Work closely with your team to meet production goals and improve processes.

- Mechanically inclined — you like working with machines, tools, or anything you can tinker with.
- Patient and focused — especially when dealing with finicky equipment.
- Physically capable — able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and consistent workflows.
- A strong communicator and team player.
Bonus If You Have:
- Experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with cannabis production or other regulated industries.
- A background in trades, fabrication, or industrial tech.
- Previous experience with pre-roll machines (especially the RollPros Blackbird).
Schedule & Requirements:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional overtime or weekends as needed)
- During your training period, your schedule will be 9am - 5pm. Once training has concluded, you will be working afternoon/evening schedule.
- Must be 21 and pass a background check.
- Must have or be willing and able to obtain a CCD Cannabis Workers Permit.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
