What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Coordinator position at dancker?
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This person will assist the warehouse team with various administrative duties. This person is responsible for receiving products in the system, ensuring all needed documents are provided to the warehouse team, updating spreadsheets, ensure all jobs are pulled when expected, and fulfilling various coordination / administrative functions.
JOB OBJECTIVES
Schedules inbound and outbound warehouse deliveries.
Maintains warehouse calendars.
Communicates with operations when needed.
Manually verifies and receives orders into Hedberg for shipments received at dancker warehouse and sub-contractor warehouses, provide tagging information to shipping / receiving and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate persons.
Ensure our processes are being followed by warehouse receiving personnel.
Ensure receiving / returns logs are accurate and up to date.
Follow up with installers and project managers for disposition on returned products.
Manually verify day to day pulls for accuracies.
Print paperwork for installers.
Provide backup coverage for Operations Coordinator – Delivery & Install and Warehouse Coordination as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Level of education : High School diploma or general education degree (GED; AA or BA degree a plus.
Job related work experience in warehouse : Minimum of 2 years preferred.
Minimum of 2 years office furniture / or coordinator experience is a plus / preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Snap tracker, Hedberg, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint only people in the industry will be proficient in Hedberg and snap tracker, personally I see this as an entry level position.
Able to lift carry up to 20lbs, push, pull, sit, and stand for long periods.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
