Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for our medical stop-loss captive, managing claims, renewals, and ongoing evaluations to optimize our self-funded benefits approach.
    • Evaluate, propose, and implement new benefits and enhancements based on employee needs and market trends.
    • Handle all benefit invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate submission to the Accounts Payable team for processing.
  • Compensation:
    • Develop and manage competitive compensation programs, including salary structures, merit increases, and bonus programs.
    • Conduct market research to ensure compensation packages align with industry standards and support employee retention and satisfaction.
    • Partner with HR and leadership to execute equitable compensation strategies that foster internal growth and recognition.
  • Leave & Time Off Support:
    • Administer and support employee leave programs, including family, medical, and other leaves, ensuring compliance and a supportive employee experience.
    • Partner with employees and managers to create smooth transitions for employees going on and returning from leave.
  • Employee Safety & Well-being:
    • Collaborate with HR and Facilities to maintain and enhance workplace safety programs.
    • Drive initiatives to support employee mental and physical well-being, including programs, policies, and resources that promote a healthy work-life balance.
    • Attend at least four benefit conferences annually, with two focused on safety and two on wellness.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in total rewards, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded benefit plans and experience in a medical stop-loss captive is highly preferred.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and approachable personality that fosters employee engagement and trust.
