Who We’re Looking For
Dandy is hiring an experienced orthodontic clear aligner treatment planner to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. In this role, you’ll join our ortho team, overseen by a US-based orthodontist and alongside treatment plan design experts, to provide best-in-class treatments for our expanding network of dentists nationwide. You will work with our design operations, digital product, and customer-facing teams to enhance our processes and workflows. You will be a key component in driving our design team and product to the next level.
What You'll Do
- Treatment plan setup configuration including file import, repair, trimming, basing, and tooth segmentation
- Planning final outcomes and staging movements leveraging attachments, IPR, and other auxiliaries
- Quality control your team members’ designs
- Build our catalog of treatment planning standard operating procedures
- Optimize our processes for efficiency leveraging new and existing workflows and technologies
- Play a critical role in the development of a world class lab
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in orthodontic clear aligner treatment planning
- Proficiency with 3D treatment planning software such as 3Shape Ortho Analyzer, Archform, OnyxCeph, ULab, Orchestrate3D, etc.
- Ability to follow detailed orthodontic prescription forms
- Familiarity with attachment placement, IPR, and other auxiliaries / procedures that can be a part of, or accompany, clear aligner treatment planning
- Attention to detail and clear understanding of how to follow internal planning best practices
- Can operate with minimal supervision
- Hunger to grow into a quality control manager and team lead
- Ability to build programs and workflows, navigate ambiguity, and iterate quickly and proactively

- Experience with clear aligner manufacturing processes and the associated workflows and requirements
- Have built out programs and treatment planning organizations as a leader, implementing rules and enforcing standards of quality
- Tech-driven with proficiency in 3D softwares such as MeshMixer and Blender and / or an appetite to learn new software systems
- Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and makes a point of having fun on the job!
