Job Summary
Dane's Body Shop is looking to hire an experienced fitness professional with high energy and a passion for coaching. You'll be asked to coach group fitness classes that make use of barbells, kettlebells, and other fitness modalities. We are especially looking for someone who is excited about coaching early mornings (5am/6am). We are currently looking to fill Thursday 5/6am along with sporadic coverage of classes based on needs.We have a vibrant and diverse community and the ideal coach will be eager to engage with our members and other coaches.
Duties
- Provide individualized attention and modifications to members based on their fitness levels.
- Create a supportive and motivational environment.
- Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions.
- Attend community events.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout environment.
- High energy and positive personality.
- High degree of comfort in coaching everything from conditioning to mobility to olympic and power lifts.
- Physical ability to demonstrate all programmed movements.
- Ability to work in the variable weather conditions of an open air gym
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of coaching experience in fitness.
- Certification in personal training from a recognized organization.
- Experience working with a diverse clientele in a health club or gym setting.
- Strong knowledge of functional movements, strength training, and Olympic lifting techniques.
- CPR/AED Certified
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $36.00 per hour
