We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. This position focuses on Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to select or decline cases based on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Medical Records: Analyze and assess patient medical documents related to rehabilitation and physical medicine
- Conduct Physical Exams: Perform in-person evaluations of patients with physical medicine and rehabilitation needs
- Address Clinical Questions: Respond to clinical inquiries from insurance carriers regarding rehabilitation matters
- Prepare Reports: Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
- Flexibility: Choose the cases you wish to accept or decline based on your schedule
- Compensation: Competitive rates based on your individual fee schedule
- Organized Documentation: All necessary medical documents will be provided in an organized manner
- In-Person Exams: IMEs must be conducted in person
- Board Certification: Must be a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist
- Experience: Previous experience in performing IMEs is a plus but not required
