Opportunity for Physician Reviewers/Advisors
Dane Street, an Independent Review Organization, is expanding its physician panel to provide non-traditional work and supplemental income opportunities.
We are seeking licensed physician advisors in Washington state to support L&I Independent Medical Exams. This role involves conducting in-person IMEs at our Bellevue clinic. Initially, we will focus on one location, but plan to expand to additional sites later.
To protect your time, no-shows, late cancellations, and ancillary fees have been established.
Our physician panel consists of independent contract reviewers (1099) who are compensated on a per-case basis.
A Washington medical license and active practice are required, along with board certification in one of the following specialties:

Job Summary:
As a Physician Reviewer/Advisor supporting Washington L & I Independent Medical Exams, you will review medical records, perform physical exams, and address clinical questions regarding diagnosis and care. Engaging independent clinicians with this expertise is crucial to the process. No-show fees and late cancellation fees are established to protect your time.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- You must be in active practice and board-certified in one of the following specialties:
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Neurology
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry)
- Chiropractic
- Pain Management
- On a contract basis, as your schedule permits, accept cases, review all medical records, conduct physical exams, and complete a report addressing each question and clinical concern using AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition.
- Provide a report promptly after the exam.
- Returns cases on or before the due date and time specified.
- Completes peer-to-peer calls/call attempts as required based on client-specific protocol to obtain information not included in medical records and any necessary clarification.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including addressing any necessary clarification, providing addendum as required (with additional compensation), and identifying and responding to potential quality assurance issues, complaints, and regulatory issues.
- Active practice is required.
