OEM Focused Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OEM Focused Account Manager to join our Danfoss Climate Solution Group. This role is responsible for generating sales within the OEM market segment, developing a strong pipeline of new opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and maximizing sales to assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek opportunities to increase penetration at existing OEM accounts while identifying prospects for new opportunities.
- Formulate an action plan to grow profitable sales across all Climate Solutions portfolios.
- Work to strengthen the Danfoss-Customer relationship.
- Provide technical and sales support to defined accounts within the sales region.
- Improve Danfoss brand and product awareness within the region.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and become proficient at applying Danfoss products to their applications.
Requirements:
- 5 years of industry-related experience in a technical sales position.
- Bachelor's degree or Vocational/Technical school degree with equivalent HVACR technical background.
- Stable job history that demonstrates a solid track record of performance.
- Strong communication skills with ability to connect with management, technical and non-technical people.
- Polished, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills required - Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic problem solver with the ability to work independently.
- Travel - 30% within sales region.
