Job Description
Danfoss has immediate 1st shift openings for Material Handler II – Distribution Operator at our Van Wert, OH facility. The Distribution Operator will safely and efficiently perform manual labor during the production process of Danfoss products. They will be required to operate a powered industrial truck to pick products for shipment and be willing to work on equipment up to 20 feet in the air. The employee could also perform other Distribution tasks such as weighing / sorting products, combine products, monitor, filing containers, and prepare products for shipping.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Must be able to learn, apply, and retain new techniques, concepts and procedures required for continuously improving products.
Ability to operate a range of powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, stock-pickers, or VNA (very narrow aisle) trucks.
Ability to operate remote scanning devices and general computer skills. Maintain flexibility to move from work area to work area to meet the customer delivery expectations.
Creates / maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment and practices safety for themselves and others.

Must have high school degree or GED.Must be willing to work on equipment up to 20 feet in the air
Must have prior operation of powered industrial vehicles of 1-3 years at minimum.
Must be willing to maintain an active license for both Stock Pickers and VNA’s.
May be required to work in other positions depending on staffing needs including but not limited to; Pick station, Skid line, Carton Line, Consolidation, Weigh Count.
