Job Description
Danfoss in Loves Park, IL is seeking an intern for the summer of 2025. In this position, you will be developing software to support our variable frequency drive products for Summer 2025. This position will be 40 hours per week during the summer.
Job Responsibilities
Contribute to new product development as part of a Scrum team.
Know and follow software engineering best practices.
Design, develop, debug, test, maintain, and deliver software features.
Work with : C , Python, Simulink, Azure DevOps, Git, and PLC application development.

Required
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Preferred
Experience with C or Python.
Knowledge of software design and development.
Knowledge of embedded software development.
Job Criteria
Strong communication skills.
Interested in a career in embedded software development for industrial products.
Compensation Data
HIRING SALARY RANGE : $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
