CNC Operator/ Floater

Danfoss in Easley, SC has an opening for a 2nd Shift CNC Operator. The CNC Operatorwill be responsiblefor awide range of duties related to operating the CNC machines and secondary Machines and Quality Inspections as required.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• The demonstrated ability to check the tools correctly and identify which tools need to be replaced and build up tools and measure.

• A working knowledge of blueprints and tolerances.Advanced print reading to include geometric tolerances, finish callouts, and true positioning.

• A demonstrated ability to use the pre-setter, perform set-ups, to load/unload operations.

• Perform all routine maintenance on the machines as required by TPM.

• The ability to use the DLOG system on the machine to enter the correct work stoppage codes.

• Must have broad technical knowledge in machining of work.

• High School education or GED equivalency.

• Must have basic math skills.Must be able to work standing for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.Must have good motor skills.
