Join our dynamic and innovative team at Climate Solutions within the Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment as a Global Key Account Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing a strategic global key account plan to foster strong relationships with one of our major clients. You will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction, working closely with internal and external partners to identify market opportunities and exceed business targets. Reporting to the Sr. Global Account Director, you will be a key driver with a forward-thinking mindset and a dedication to fostering collaboration.
As a Global Key Account Manager at Danfoss, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include:
Designing and implementing a comprehensive global account plan tailored to align with the Global Account's long-term business strategy, securing buy-in from all relevant business units.
Effectively communicating the value proposition of Danfoss Climate Solutions by collaborating with internal teams based on a clear understanding of customer needs.
Leading the regional execution of the key account plan through regular business reviews, initially focusing on the Americas region.
Gaining in-depth insights into the customer's business objectives, product offerings, organizational structure, market landscape, and competitors to identify ways to maximize value for Danfoss.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers through structured technology, project, and business discussions.
Coordinating all essential account activities globally with key customer stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment and success.
Mentoring local sales representatives to enhance their skills and drive improved performance.

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Commerce, or Engineering.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic account planning, negotiation, and contract management.
Strong grasp of P&L fundamentals and key financial metrics.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer-centric roles with a proven track record of achieving objectives, preferably within global sales and the HVAC&R industry.
Experience in overseeing international projects, managing direct or virtual teams, and delivering impactful programs, showcasing effective leadership and influence.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse matrix organization to drive desired outcomes.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (expectation of 25-50% travel).
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration within a matrix structure.
