Program Overview
The Application Engineer Trainee program at Danfoss in Loves Park, IL seeks candidates to develop skills and competencies supporting variable speed drive and/or electrification applications for North American customers.
- Develop application solutions using Drives product portfolio
- Interact with key customers to understand requirements and provide technical support
- Provide on-site support, including travel to customer sites when necessary
- Develop technical documentation for applications engineering tasks
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities
Responsibilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field, or comparable technical work experience
- Able to work collaboratively with customers and team members
- Curious and creative problem-solver
- Effective communication skills (communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences)
