Drives End User Sales Liaison Manager – Food & Beverage
Drives End User Sales Liaison Manager – Food & Beverage will foster new relationships with end users to build brand awareness and cultivate sales! Accountable to understand VFD, industrial controls, and automation systems within Food & Beverage. The successful SLM will make inroads with end users to uncover their pain points and collaborate with their Danfoss colleagues allowing them to create a tailor solution. The successful SLM possesses the right combination of people skills and industry background to deliver the best value and experience to our customers. You’ll be responsible for being the primary point of contact for the target end users ensuring that their needs are communicated back to Danfoss.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Food and Beverage encompasses; production, packaging, and distributing of any product meant for human consumption.
  • Key collaboration with a strong Sales, Marketing, Service, Product Management & Development, Supply Chain and Application Development Centre infrastructures.
  • Providing feedback from the end user regarding your Danfoss colleagues solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate select vertical expertise – talk the customer’s talk to build trust and confidence.
  • Develop sustainable cross functional relationships between Danfoss and end users to secure long term partnerships.
  • Involved in “WIN ROOM” activities: leveraging different internal stakeholders to bring in dream accounts.
  • Keep Salesforce records up to date regarding new business opportunities.
  • Essential to collaborate with the Channel Sales Team to find the right solutions for our customers.

Travel & Job Location
  • Up to 70% domestic with limited international travel
  • This role is for a remote employee. The SDM is expected to travel within North America as needed. Ideal candidates will be located in the Midwest, Gulf, Eastern half of the US.

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements to educational background
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience

Requirements For Work Experience
  • Min 5 years’ front line Industry experience selling to End Users, OEMs, Integrators in Automation and Electrical Equipment, preferably with Variable Frequency Drive background.
  • Familiar with CRM tools, Salesforce is preferred.
  • Network of customers within the selected Industry is preferred.
  • Understanding the Variable Frequency Drive and Motion Control market is preferred.
