Job Description
At Danfoss we build high quality, state of the art hydraulic pumps and motors to achieve more with less to power agricultural and construction machinery. We engineer impact where it counts, from the farms that feed to the modern city. Danfoss in Easley has an opening for a Hone Operator. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm with the potential for overtime.
The Hone Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines in the Hone Cell.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Set up machine in accordance with setup matrix and best practice.
Understands the different settings and adjustments available on the hone machines Understands the basics of statistical process control and the use of control limits
Comfortable using precision gage tools and measuring equipment.
Responsible for visually inspecting equipment, complete oil checks, or other inspection methods required to ensure safe hone equipment.
Hone component parts to required clearance standards, using standard methods for gauging, and verifying part conformance to blueprint specification.

High School Education or GED.
Must understand dimensional requirements and the importance of producing parts that meet specification.
Must have basic math skills with the ability to calculate clearance in decimals.
