The Maintenance Technician is responsible for mechanical repairs of production equipment with the ability to identify and solve problems in a timely organized manner. The person performs a wide range of installation and repair of electrical circuitry/PLC’s and utilizing electrical diagrams and schematics, and in conformance with NEC requirements. Performs skilled mechanical repairs and troubleshooting electronics on machines.
This is a 1st Shift position, located in Searcy, Arkansas.

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately high.

Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Technician II.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using volt-meter, Megger and other test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance Technician II.
- Analyze test results, machine, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Repair and Maintain Fanuc Robotics and CNC Machines, including Mazak/Makino Machining Centers
- Replace faulty modules and field components. Install and maintain hydraulic circuits in Industrial equipment, including hoses, relief valves, proportional valves and other hydraulic components. Automation troubleshooting to include: A/C and DC Motors, Motor Starters and VFDs
- Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE, NFPA-70, NEC and OSHA
Job Qualification Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical or electronic systems a plus but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective action a plus but not required.
- Team player that's able to wrok overtime as needed and willing to learn.
- Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
