Men's Locker Room Attendant

GENERAL SUMMARY

Provided first class customer service to a busy membership by servicing every aspect of the members experience in the mens locker room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to work in uniform at posted scheduled times.
• Overseeing that all products are stocked and ready for the day.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the locker room, bathrooms and showers.
• Service all member requests in an efficient manner.
• Welcome all members and their guests as if it were your home.
• Clean all shoes that are presented and return them to their respective lockers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of a high level of customer service to exclusive member clientele.
• Prefer previous experience in a club environment.
• Must have the ability to quickly learn members names, likes and dislikes.
• Ability to use safety practices in carrying out job duties.
• Ability to proficiently function in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and utilize organizational skills.
• Ability to add, be multi-tasked, and plan and prepare for a demanding membership.
• Work schedules may vary; therefore, flexibility is necessary. Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Seasonal busy periods of business will require longer work schedules. The most common times are tournaments, holidays and special events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must enthusiastically represent Daniel Island Golf Club displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
• Workplace attire and grooming must be neat, clean and appropriate for the work being performed and the setting in which the work is performed.
• Ability to Twist, turn, reach above shoulder, reach outward, stand, walk, work at or above shoulder occasionally
• Ability to Bend, squat, kneel, talk or hear frequently
• Ability to stay on your feet the entire day
