We are seeking an experienced Freelance ACD Team to support a retail client for 40 hours/week, during Edelman's working hours (9-5ish, eastern time).

Our team drives some of the world’s most buzz-worthy work, like eBay's pre-loved runway shows at NY and London Fashion Week or Dove’s guide for coding Black hairstyles in gaming. Here, we don’t just follow culture; we aim to change it. 

Expect a range of creative work that defies traditional PR or advertising norms. One day you’re ideating a content series, the next you’re brainstorming with our AI team or crafting culture-shifting activation ideas. If you’re drawn to projects that land in the NY Times and on Cannes shortlists, you’ll fit right in.

*Assembly occasionally converts freelancers to full-time-employees to support this growing business. Please note that potential for conversion is limited to candidates willing to work a hybrid schedule at an Edelman office.

•  Work to concept and plan execution of integrated campaigns and programs across a wide range of media and platforms, especially social, digital, video, experiences, and content   
• Create and design campaign ideas for client projects and new business pitches that are earned-first and social by design   
• Work in concert with a wide range of specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencer      
• Develop tactics which bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives    
•   Manage multiple jobs simultaneously; managing and providing direction to other team members as needed  
•   Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule projects and coordinate production  
•   Prepare and present client creative presentations; Drive client approval process  
•   Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget   

• At least 6 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social media, with significant emphasis on interactive media  
• A Bachelor’s degree

• A killer online portfolio with proven recent examples of social, traditional, earned, digital, and experiential campaigns 
• Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail and handling them with a team oriented, entrepreneurial spirit  
• Strong, persuasive presentation skills to sell in creative work to internal and external stakeholders 
• Experience maintaining client contact as needed, building camaraderie to develop trusting relationships  
• The ability to collaborate with PMs and other departments to lead and move projects forward, assisting with budget and schedule development, and potentially managing junior creatives’ work 
• Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines while maintaining a high-level of craft and detail in a fast-paced environment  

• Experience in influencer and or community management a plus

Salary : $110 - $135
