We are a property & casualty insurance agency, in Danvers, MA seeking a FT Commercial & Personal Lines (Dual Role) Account Manager. This is a job for an account manager who will be splitting their time managing both a commercial and personal lines book of business. Our business was started in 1976 and we are a small (less than 10 employees), family run, insurance agency. We value open communication and working together to do the best we can for our valued clients. The job hours are from 8 : 15am-4 : 30pm Monday-Friday (8 : 15am-3 : 30pm on Fridays in the summer).
Job Responsibilities :
Answer phones and handle requests from clients
New business quoting and processing of new policies
Renewal remarketing
Working with clients on their recommendations from inspections
Sending renewal emails to commercial clients
Prepare binders and certificates of insurance
Process endorsements and cancellations
Assist with client payments when needed
Complete registry paperwork for clients
Cross selling of current clients to other lines of business
Using the mail system, fax, scanner and email
Job Requirements :
Agency experience of at least 1 year in both commercial & personal lines
P&C licensed
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Verbal and written English communication skills
Proficient on the computer
Ability to work in a small office environment
Good at dealing with people on the phone and the ability to develop rapport
Reliable attendance
