What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher 2025-2026 (DMTC) position at Daniel Morgan Technology Center?
Qualifications:
- South Carolina Certification as Generic Special Education (02) or Multicategorical (21) or Learning Disabilities (2G)
- Experience and/or great comfort in teaching students essential life skills to include, but not limited to: general shop/lab safety, safe and practical use of power tools, kitchen safety and hygiene, personal economics, and professional communication skills.
- Interact and engage with all Daniel Morgan Technology Center completer programs in determining the best fit for students and the best career match for student interests.
- General working knowledge of career and technology education completer programs are vital to student success and the continued success of the integrated partnership.
- Preferred candidate will also be knowledgeable of the South Carolina Employability Credential requirements and teach courses as necessary.
Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule
Terms of Employment: 190 days
