Responsibilities
The Warehouse Operator verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments and assist in preparing items for shipment by quality and productivity standards.
Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities :
- Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
- Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, and discrepancies for reporting, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Must be able to operate forklift and hand jacks.
- Ability to load and unload heavy equipment and materials.
- Sorts materials for processing transport.
- Moves freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas.
- Builds crates according to international and domestic standards.
- Inventory control.
- Organize Outlook Personal folders to store specific email correspondence.
- Ability to use smart phone to communicate with managers, colleagues, and customers.
