Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This role involves ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas are well-kept, safe, and visually appealing.

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure healthy plant growth.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and weeding.
• Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, reporting any issues to management.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as needed.
• Keep outdoor areas clean and free from debris to promote safety and aesthetics.
• Assist with all shop tasks as needed.

Skills

• Experience in landscape maintenance techniques with hands-on experience in groundskeeping.
• Knowledgeable in the use of power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Strong ability to maintain lawns through proper mowing techniques and fertilization methods.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in outdoor spaces.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
