Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and well-trained Counselor/Therapist to join our growing practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couple and family sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet people where they are in their struggles, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Implement treatment plans based on assessments and client goals, utilizing empirically proven therapeutic techniques..
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with professional and ethical standards..
- Stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic techniques relevant to client care.
Requirements
- A master's degree in professional counseling, social work, or a related field is required; active (or pending) license preferred. (e.g., LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, or LCSW).
- Some experience in therapy or counseling settings -- supervised internships as part of the candidate's graduate studies will be considered "experience".
- Working knowledge of current therapeutic theories and modalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating ability to work independently.
