Daniels Wood Land, Inc (DWL) is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager who can support the Sales / Production Team.
The preferred candidate will have related experience with an understanding of Project Management / Estimating in a construction setting.
Project Manager Responsibilities :
Understands and embraces the philosophy of "Build it Right the First Time”
Represent the company on pre-bid job walks and relay site visit information to other team members and subcontractors as required.
Ensures that projects remain in scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring.
Maintaining timeline of projects and communicating to production and changes to schedule.
Adhering to proper administration of construction contracts with knowledge of and experience.
Effectively manage weekly work output and meet bid deadlines.
Report to owners on the progress of projects including any changes needed per original job bid.
Prepare and process change orders timely and accurately. Provide invoicing details for the accounting department.
Ability to analyze data and situations and come up with creative solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be safety and quality-minded.
Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications :
B.S. Degree with an understanding of Construction Management
3-5 years of experience in construction estimating experience.
Ability to conduct Clients and Subcontractors Meetings.
Ability to Manage and Coordinate multiple Jobs simultaneously.
Ability to see a Project from Conception to Completion.
Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
Experience with Auto CAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, Affinity Designer, and other design applications.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Programs.
Excellent attention to detail & ability to think in a three-dimensional manner are a plus.
Firm knowledge of construction and fabrication.
Ability to successfully execute duties under pressure from deadlines.
Attention to detail reviewing and creating documentation and billing.
- Travel may be required.
The applicant must be drug-free, have a clean record, and have a valid driver's license. They must also be able to travel occasionally, have reliable transportation, and speak fluent English.
Must present proof of authorization to work in the United States.
