We are seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter with hands-on trade experience to lead our efforts in sourcing, evaluating, and hiring top-tier skilled trade professionals. This role focuses on recruiting for concrete, general labor, carpentry, general trades, drywall, painting, and ironwork roles. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of trade work and the ability to connect authentically with skilled candidates.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for field trade positions, including concrete, general labor, carpentry, general trades, drywall, painting, and ironwork
• Use your trades background to assess candidates' technical skills and job readiness
• Build and maintain authentic relationships with candidates across trade specialties
• Develop targeted recruitment strategies tailored to each trade’s unique requirements
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and field leaders to understand job demands and timelines
• Build partnerships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry associations to generate talent pipelines
• Design and administer practical, trade-relevant skill assessments during the hiring process
• Maintain and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness)
• Support ongoing hiring needs by maintaining an active bench of pre-screened candidates

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on skilled trade experience in concrete, general labor, carpentry, general trades, drywall, painting, or ironwork roles, with strong working knowledge of related trades
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction recruitment or trade hiring
• Familiarity with construction certifications, apprenticeship pathways, and trade-specific credentials
• Ability to understand jobsite needs and align candidate skills with field expectations
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with a diverse workforce

Preferred Skills:

• In-depth understanding of skilled trades and jobsite terminology
• Genuine ability to speak the language of the trades and relate to candidates on the ground
• Knowledge of recruitment platforms and sourcing techniques for trade roles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
