Dankesreiter & Emmet, LLP seeks a civil litigation attorney with 2-10 years of civil litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in litigation and a desire to contribute to a team-oriented environment. We are looking for long term employees.
The candidate will work independently and collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants on civil litigation matters. We are not a personal injury firm. The job responsibilities include case strategy development, drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, written discovery, legal research, preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, and communicating with courts and opposing parties.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a case load of assigned cases.
- Independently manage and meet deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Fairly track 100 billable hours per month.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
