Role:
The Data Analyst will play a role in supporting the Credit Union's data-driven initiatives by analyzing financial and operational data, generating insights, and assisting in strategic decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can effectively translate complex data into meaningful reports and visualizations to support various business units.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide actionable insights for decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance data utilization across the organization.
- Ensure data integrity and governance by following best practices in data management.
- Support management by preparing regular and adhoc reports.
- Continuously improve data analysis methodologies and reporting processes.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data collection, cleaning, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain clear and insightful data visualizations for business teams.
- Identify key trends and actionable insights from financial and operational data.
- Maintain data integrity by following best practices in data governance.
- Provide timely and relevant reports to support management and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive datadriven decisionmaking.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
- One year to three years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with financial or operational data analysis is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to present data findings clearly to nontechnical
stakeholders.
Other Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and financial metrics.
Work Environment:
- Standard Office Environment (Not Remote).
