Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires a proactive approach to client services and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Review and accurately enter customer orders in a timely manner (including Distributor, OEM, Retail, EDI, and Warranty Replacement).
- Process EDI transactions including Order Acceptance and Acknowledgment with precision and accountability.
- Analyze customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary on matters such as damaged or incorrect items, warranty returns, etc.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with products. Solicit help from internal departments and utilize the website and catalog, etc., as needed. Continuous technical training and assistance will be provided.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the database for future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Special projects and other various duties asked of by Management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or call center environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Experience in sales or client services is a plus.
- Proficient typing skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. NetSuite experience (preferred).
- Able to understand technical concepts quickly and retain knowledge.
- Experience with EDI systems and documentation is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A positive attitude with a strong desire to help others succeed.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.05 per hour
