We are seeking a motivated, experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple commercial construction projects across the state of Kansas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction management processes.
The Project Manager will serve as the key connection between our office, superintendents, field crews, and general contractors. They will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget — while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects across Kansas.

Lead, mentor, and motivate Superintendents and jobsite crews to ensure project goals are met.

Interpret and review blueprints and construction drawings, providing clear direction and answering questions related to layout, design, and scope.

Coordinate scheduling, material deliveries, and labor needs in collaboration with the Estimating and Warehouse/Delivery teams.

Communicate directly with general contractors and other trade partners regarding project schedules, changes, updates, and issues.

Manage and track change orders, ensuring scope adjustments are properly documented and approved.

Identify potential jobsite challenges and proactively develop solutions with Superintendents and contractors.

Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Work closely with the Estimating team to review project scopes, budgets, and ensure that materials and resources are procured and delivered on time.

Participate in project handoff meetings, pre-construction planning, and project closeouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.

Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead jobsite teams.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.

Outstanding communication skills — both written and verbal.

Ability to travel to project sites across Kansas as needed.

Experience working with general contractors and other trades on scheduling, coordination, and site logistics.

Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
