This individual will be a key leader within our organization, responsible for shaping and executing our data platform and engineering strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and technology. The successful candidate will establish best practices for data governance and champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Primary Job Requirements
Develop and articulate comprehensive short and long-term visions and data strategies for DWPs data technology and its integration with overall DWP goals.
Lead a key project to build the first centralized data platform at DWP (outsourcing certain phases to agencies) to allow for near real-time ticket sales integration and monitoring as well as automated marketing analytics and attribution reporting.
Integrate transactional data (tickets, merchandise, food and beverage, etc.), marketing data (GA4, media spend, impressions, clicks, etc.), artist data (popularity, attendance data, etc.), surveys, 3rd party appended data and social media data into a centralized platform and integrate into a CRM and ERP.
Build dashboards (ticket sales, marketing attribution, etc.) and to allow for visualization of metrics such as YoY change, pacing to goals, etc.
Drive the development and implementation of business intelligence and analytics strategies across marketing, ticketing, finance, operations, partnerships, etc.
Ensure the delivery of actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align data initiatives with business goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.
Key Qualifications
Proven experience (10 years) in a senior leadership role overseeing the data management and analytics functions.
Strong background in data governance, data architecture, and business intelligence.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies and centralized data platforms
In-depth knowledge of data engineering technologies, BI tools, and marketing analytics platforms including Snowflake, Looker and GA4.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
This position is based in Los Angeles, CA or hybrid. Hybrid working schedule, 3-4 days in office.
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 and includes medical / dental / vision / 401k benefits. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.
