The Analyst, RGM is responsible for supporting the Mass/Club/Dollar/Discount/Ecomm sales teams with pricing and trade optimization. The individual is passionate about delivering insights, has data and mathematical acumen, and ideally possesses an understanding of CPG business drivers. The team member is a results-oriented individual who can execute a long-term strategy while simultaneously supporting ad-hoc requests. The team member will be responsible delivering data-driven insights to the business, collaborates with and listens carefully to business partners, and can incorporate business knowledge into deriving an optimized proposition. Primary
- Advance relevant, informative, and user-friendly actionable insights to help inform and support strategic decision making with key business stakeholders across all business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support RGM initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Partnering with the sales teams to bring forward incremental funding requests and presenting them to the business units for approval
- Create reports / dashboards to facilitate visibility into historic and current-state performance
- Pull and leverage internal and external data sources including Syndicated POS data
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Analytics, Economics, Business, or another related field)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, finance, or RGM required
- CPG experience preferred
- Identify opportunities to streamline, produce, and enhance reports / dashboards
- Develop strong acumen in Danone’s business processes, product portfolio, and become a business success ambassador
- Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with Sales data (internal and syndicated) and Trade data preferred
- Detail oriented and inquisitive individual who enjoys data and working on a team
- Strong storytelling and communication skills (written and verbal)
- An understanding of retailer and manufacturer financials is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel as needed
