Overview
The mechanic role entails operating an offshore production facility according to customer specifications, conducting testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of equipment, and completing mandatory paperwork for both customers and governmental agencies. Additionally, responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment such as turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, and reciprocating equipment like pumps and compressors.
Responsibilities
- Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
- Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
- Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot, turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.)
Qualifications
- 1-3 years mechanic experience preferably offshore on a production platform.
- Technical school degree/training preferred
- Solar Turbine experience preferred but not required.
- SAP experience preferred but not required.
- Pump and recip. experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
