A Shelf Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical equipment on offshore platforms in Houma, Louisiana, working on a 14/14 rotational schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on electrical equipment such as motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers.
- Conduct electrical isolations and calibrate equipment as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by USCG and MMS.
- Assist in developing electrical maintenance plans.
- Adhere strictly to all safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Valid TWIC card.
- Experience working on offshore oil and gas production platforms.
