Electrical Engineer- Lipo Battery

Summary:

The client is looking for a Senior Electrical or Mechanical Engineer who is highly experienced in Lithium Polymer (LiPo) Battery Technologies and battery packaging development. The ideal candidate will have a background in power electronics, product development for series production, and technical oversight in a high-energy-density application. The focus is on automotive or aerospace applications, requiring knowledge of charging, discharging, balancing, and ensuring the battery systems can withstand a range of environmental conditions.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise in battery technology, electrical engineering, and practical experience in product development for production-scale applications.

• Senior electrical or mechanical engineer with experience in high-energy-density battery cell packaging development, for internal design or technical oversight of outsourced battery cell package development.
• Familiarity with Lithium Polymer Battery Technologies , and/ or other high density energy storage packaging design, charging, discharging, cooling, balancing, handling required.
• Strong understanding/ development of Electronics hardware involving power.
• Electronics Fundamentals in automotive or aerospace application, across range of usage environmental conditions.
• Experienced in product development for series production with designation of development criteria and test requirements.
• Experience making technical judgment for production worthiness.
