We are looking for a Project Manager (Network Domain – SD-WAN Expertise). Cleveland, OH - Onsite work.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in the network domain and hands-on knowledge of SD-WAN technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering network infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage end-to-end network projects with a focus on SD-WAN implementation and optimization.
- Work closely with network architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and migration of SD-WAN solutions across enterprise networks.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) related to network infrastructure.
- Implement best practices in ITIL, Agile, or PMP methodologies to improve project execution efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate network-related risks, ensuring high availability and security in SD-WAN implementations.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
- 5 years of experience in project management within the network domain.
- Strong expertise in SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VMware Velocloud, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.).
- Familiarity with WAN, LAN, MPLS, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Cloud Networking.
- Experience in network transformation projects, including migrations and upgrades.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).
- Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile (Scrum Master) are a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of automation and scripting for network management (Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance.
