Summary:
The client is seeking a hybrid Solution Architect and Full-Stack Developer with deep telecom expertise to lead enterprise architecture efforts, drive digital transformation, and optimize telecom-specific systems. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development skills (Java, Spring Boot, React.js), DevOps expertise (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and experience with cloud platforms and microservices architectures. Additionally, knowledge of Pega and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a significant bonus for automation and digital experience management.
The role requires hands-on technical leadership, telecom-specific modernization experience, and the ability to align technology strategies with business objectives. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also critical, as the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead technical discussions.
The candidate must be onsite 3days a week for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions, integrating multiple systems, and aligning technology strategies with business objectives. Bonus qualifications include experience with Pega and/or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to drive digital transformation and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end enterprise architecture solutions & High-Level Designs (L3 documentation) in line with NorthStar Architecture for new product launches (both Wireless & Wireline, as applicable) across multiple technology stacks, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and Deliver Detailed Design including system integration points, data stores/interfaces, & API specifications aligned with GTS technical road map.
- Provide architectural guidance on cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven solutions tailored for telecom industry use cases.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions.
- Lead full-stack development efforts, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware technologies to create seamless digital experiences.
- Define best practices and governance models for software development, system integrations, and enterprise solutions.
- Drive modernization initiatives, including legacy system migration to cloud-based or microservices architectures.
- Optimize telecom-specific solutions such as billing, customer experience, and service fulfillment systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in application architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate and implement Pega (BPM/Case Management) and/or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for workflow automation, decisioning, and digital experience management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and data governance policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in full-stack development, solution architecture, and enterprise architecture within the telecom industry.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern development frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, .NET, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js), Python, or other relevant technologies.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
- Working knowledge of telecom BSS/OSS systems, network integrations, and real-time data processing.
- Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML integration is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in Pega (Decisioning, Case Management, Workflow Automation) and/or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for digital content and experience management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage business stakeholders and development teams
Certifications: Relevant certifications in DevOps practices, React.js, and Java development are a plus.
