Waiter Assistant Job Responsibilities: The right waiter assistant is committed to ensuring high-quality customer service and the capacity to handle the pressure of restaurant work.
- Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables, setting decorations, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, and cleaning chalkboards.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.
- Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
- Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Food Runner Job Responsibilities:
- A Food Runner must be able to multitask in order to ensure customers get their orders promptly
- Food Runners will have to possess a high degree of organizational skills to easily locate tables and bar patrons to fulfill everyone’s orders
- A Food Runner needs excellent communication skills to ensure they meet customers’ requests. Not only does the Food Runner have to listen to learn where the food needs to go, but they also have to communicate with the customers whether it’s checking on their satisfaction or taking an impromptu request.
- Food Runners spend most of their shift standing, so they need to be able to remain on their feet for several hours straight. Additionally, they should be able to carry about 35 pounds easily.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
