What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute School Nurse position at Danvers Public Schools?
Substitute nurses may be assigned daily or in advance, for longer-term or scheduled substitutions.
All applicants must pass CORI and fingerprint background checks as per Massachusetts state law.
All applicants must provide copies of their current, valid nursing licenses.
Fulfills school nurse responsibilities during the building nurse's absence
Administer routine medical care, dispense medication, and provide first aid treatment to students
Notify parents of illness and accidents, which occur during school hours and fill out appropriate accidents form
Keep daily log of students seen in health room
